Why Aloe Vera is a Super Skin Ingredient

The soother

This spiky, succulent plant is one of the most soothing remedies you can use on your skin. Aloe is renowned specifically for its soothing properties so that’s why we’ve used it in every product in the range.

Healing powers

It has an impressive track record (about 6000 years of use) for naturally soothing, healing and cooling skin problems such as eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, sunburn, cuts and blisters. So it’s an ideal natural remedy to help maintain your skin’s healthy condition. It’s very adaptable and can be incorporated easily with other ingredients.

The real thing

If you’ve got a healthy, plump plant, you can cut small sections off a leaf and use the pulp on specific skin issues, such as spots, cuts or burns. It will speed up the healing process and is as fresh a remedy as you can get.

Our Aloe

We source our Aloe from the Dominican Republic because we can get a good quality ingredient, at a cost that means we can keep our product prices so reasonable. It is a sustainable ingredient and is readily available as either organically or non-organically cultivated.

Why we use it

Our range has a limited number of ingredients, for good reason. Aloe, for example, is used in each of our skincare products to ensure your skin is treated with simplicity, and left to do the job it’s very good at – keeping healthy. Having few ingredients also means we can remain affordable as we buy our ingredients in bulk, so we can claim to be one of the most inexpensive, certified organic skincare ranges available – and on the high street!
